To ensure your small package arrives in the best possible condition, we recommend following these packing tips.

• Use new, sturdy boxes—You may be tempted to reuse a box you received a shipment in, or you may go to your local department store to ask if they have any old boxes from incoming shipments. This isn’t recommended. Why? Old boxes tend to be worn out and warped. This means your shipment won’t get the protection it needs to stay safe during transit. Instead, use brand new boxes to give your shipment protection and support.
• Give your shipment plenty of padding—Make sure you wrap your shipment properly and use plenty of styrofoam, peanuts, and other packing materials. Don’t skimp on these packing materials, because they’ll protect your shipment, keeping it from getting broken. Also, beware of using too many of these packing materials as they’ll cause the box to stretch out.
• Tape up your box properly—Make sure you tape your box closed so that it doesn’t bust open during shipping. Don’t just use one thin layer of tape along the opening. Instead, either tape over it twice, or do a cross-like tape job (one strip running top to bottom, another running left to right).
